The Greene County varsity volleyball team fell to Nevada Oct. 4 in Nevada by scores of 12-25, 14-25, 17-25.
“Nevada is a disciplined and scrappy team and we just couldn’t stay with them throughout the match. We had moments when we competed right along with them, but we could not sustain any type of momentum,” coach Donna Carhill said.
Nadia Fisher served 13 of 16 with two aces and had 11 kills. Hannah Stein served six of six and had three kills, and Kenna Marquardt served nine of nine.
Megan Durbin had 15 digs and three kills. Hannah Promes had 18 assists and 10 digs.
